Fresher's Week is your first opportunity at uUniversity to make life-long memories and kick-off your university experience in the most exciting way possible. 

Your Students' Union is known for putting on some of the best nights out, and this year will be no different! Previous events in the Vault have included:  

Club Nights: Whether you're dancing to your own beat with a silent disco headset or glowing under UV lights with neon paint, these high-energy nights guarantee an unforgettable party experience! From kids' TV stars icons to chart-topping celebrity DJs, there's entertainment for everyone! 

Social Events: Test your luck and win epic prizes at Bingo, connect with fellow indie and rock fans at our Alternative Night mixers, or belt out your favourite tunes at our lively Karaoke Nights to take home the campus crown. 

Daytime Experiences: If you’re looking to make the most of your days, get creative with crafts galore at the Terrace, uncover hidden gems on guided walking tours of Winchester, or soak in history at the Cathedral as you become acquainted with your new home. Don’t be afraid to try out some society give-it-a-go sessions or unwind at one of our movie screenings or board game sessions. 

If you’re not a night owl, there will be crafts galore in the Terrace, walking tours of Winchester, Cathedral vists, society give-it-a-go sessions, quizzes, movies and more. 

Finish off your week at Freshers Fayre. Along with a chance to explore our massive range of clubs and societiesactivity groups, it’s also the place for freebies from big suppliers brands such as Dominos and Amazon, to kit out your halls at the poster sale and find out about local bars, cafes and gyms. There will be giant games on the Terrace, bubbles galore and, if you’re lucky, free ice cream!
