Committee Handover Guidance

This quick reference guide is designed to aid current members of a committee hand over their roles to the newly elected committee for the following academic year.

Key Points
  • Ensure that the incoming committee are familiar with both the Activities and Code of Conduct byelaws.
  • Inform that there must be at least 2 committee members present for committee training in September

  • Each Activity group must submit a Code of Practice every year, ensure that you inform the incoming committee on;

Finance (Pages 19-23)
  • Inform the incoming committee of the group’s financial position
  • If possible, provide an up-to-date balance statement.
  • Give information of purchases made over the year.
