Winchester Students' Union employs around 100 students over the course of a year. These posts in our bars, shops venues and offices can be an excellent way of earning money and remaining flexible for studies during your time here in Winchester.

Posts available: Students' Union Assistant (Membership)
Posts suitable for: A current (or enroling) student of the University of Winchester (N.B. must be a student who will be enrolled for the 2026-2027 academic year).
Hours per week: Expected average of 10 hours per week, term time and some vacation weeks.
Rate of Pay: £13.68ph (inclusive of payment made in lieu of holiday)

Winchester Students' Union is currently seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking student with excellent organisational and administrative skills, to help provide administrative support for the Membership areas of the Students' Union, to improve the effectiveness of student representation, campaigns and projects across the Union’s Education Zone, Welfare Zone, Activities Zone and Union-Wide work.
Posts available: Student Trustee
Posts suitable for: A current (or enroling) student of the University of Winchester with the ability to bring their experience as a Winchester student and member of the Students' Union to the role; An enthusiasm to help develop the Union and guide its development for the benefit of our members.
Hours per week: variable - expected to be no more than 30 hours per annum. This post is voluntary with out of pocket expenses.
